Charleston Charter fishing and Folly Beach fishing is warming up just in time for Spring Break! Deep Sea fishing charters have been targeting assorted snapper, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Sea Bass and too many other species to mention. We have been catching those fish out in water from 50 to 70 ft deep. We have primarily focused on Bottom fishing with some trolling mixed in when conditions are right.
Nearshore charters and Inshore Charter fishing in Charleston and Folly Beach have been producing some of our favorite sport fish. Nearshore fishing at the reefs and wrecks just off the beach have been catching Black Drum, Weakfish, Bluefish, Bull Redfish and Sheepshead. We have been dropping baits along rock piles and wrecks in 25 to 45 feet of water. The nest bait seems to be mullet, shrimp and bucktail jigs.
Inshore fishing charters have been targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder as they begin to feed more heavily in our warming waters. The inshore fishing in Folly Beach and Charleston is a great option this time of year. We have been spending time back in the saltwater creeks and flats and fishing a variety of baits including shrimp and minnows. The waters are typically very calm making it a smooth outing for anglers of all ages and skill levels. To book a charter you may do so quickly and securely online here under the “book now tab”.
