Charleston and Folly Beach charter fishing has been good this week as Trout, Redfish, Sharks and Flounder land on the deck despite the occasional rain showers and wind. The fish have been eagerly hitting a variety of live and cut bait near creek mouths, docks and channel drops. I have been boating fish on live shrimp, mullet and menhaden as well as live blue crabs. A simple Carolina rig will do the trick most of the time however the DOA Clacker is hard to beat in moving water. For the more seasoned anglers DOA air heads and shrimp have been slaying the Trout and shallow water Redfish. Keep in mind you may have to move often to stay on the fish and don’t be shy about changing tactics to keep the fish interested. Give me a call or send me an email to book a trip.
