Get your gear in order folks. From the Kiawah River to the waters of Isle of Palms and everywhere in between the fishing is hot. There is so much to fish for now it will be hard to share it all with you. This week inshore we have caught sheepshead, Pompano, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sharks, Croaker, Whiting and more. No matter what your favorite way to fish is now is the time to get out there. We have had explosive hits from Redfish and Trout on topwater baits like the Zara Spook at first light. An hour after daylight we switch to soft plastics by Z-Man and DOA to keep the bite going. We have thrown the cast net for menhaden and shrimp and caught slab flounder at the creek mouths and Pompano and Ladyfish at the Jetties. The harbor, sandbars and deep holes are holding Sharks, Whiting, Croaker, Bluefish and Mackerel. Lots of fish to catch and a lot of ways to target them. Get down to your favorite local tackle shop.
