Charter Fishing has been great here in Charleston and Folly Beach as most trips continue to produce good catches and plenty of action. We have been targeting big “Bull” Redfish on almost every charter and we have been catching them from a few miles off the beach to a few miles up the river. They have been favoring big fresh caught Menhaden for bait but we have been taking them on a variety of offerings including Mullet and Blue Crab. There have been plenty of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish close to the beach for those of you that like fast and fun light tackle action. Some Spanish Mackerel have been over 20 inches and can put up quite a fight. Sheepshead fishing is about to get started as the water cools and we are about to have the best Speckled Trout fishing of the year. Inshore fishing has been fun as this is the time of year that the fish readily take artificial and natural baits as they feed heavily before the bait begins to head offshore for winter. The good fishing should last well until the end of January. Weekends tend to book up fast this time of year so make your reservations early! Feel free to give me a call at 843-696-4231 or email me here at the website. In the meantime enjoy the pictures of happy anglers from some of our most recent charters!
