Jonathan and Lindsay with one of the nice Redfish they caught on cut mullett

Come out to the buffet, everyone is here! Redfish, Flounder and trout are eating Shrimp, Mullet and Menhaden. Spanish Mackerel are just outside the inlets and Ladyfish are ready to put on an acrobatic display with just one well placed cast. We have clearing water, cooler temperatures and later sunrises as the year goes on. It all makes for some fast and comfortable action that is hard to beat. I have been catching fish in Folly Beach, Isle of Palms and near downtown Charleston. The fish are now moving to the fall pattern of eating everything in sight before the baitfish move offshore for the winter. If you prefer to use artificial baits or fly’s, now is the time to hone your skills. If you are a more traditional or occasional fisherman, well you just can’t beat this time of year. Come on out and join me for some fish rod bending action!
